Chip Berry is Vice President of Merchandising and Customer Support of Cone Denim. His responsibilities include merchandising, market research, production planning, customer service, and logistics/compliance. Cone Denim is the world's largest producer of denim fabrics with plants in North Carolina, Coahuila, Mexico, and a commercial joint venture in Turkey. The company's customers include VF Corp, Levi Strauss, Gap, American Eagle, Calvin Klein and Polo Jeans. Cone Denim is a major textile exporter with products going to Mexico, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Cone Mills Corporation was recently purchased by financier Wilbur L. Ross, and merged with Burlington Industries. The newly formed International Textile Group will have revenues of around $900 million.
