Sridhar Sourirajan

Sridhar is currently a software developer at SAS Institute in Cary, NC. Prior to this he was a founding partner at Object Edge, Inc., an IT Services firm based in Walnut Creek, CA. While at Object Edge, he directed the application of object technology and distributed computing to complex business problems in industry domains such as banking and finance.

He was a co-founder and Director of Product Development at Objectshare Systems, Inc., a leading tools and components vendor in the Smalltalk industry. Objectshare, based in Santa Clara, CA was sold to ParcPlace-Digitalk, Inc. in 1996 at a substantial return to investors.

Prior to Objectshare he was a senior software engineer at Knowledge Systems Corporation, a pioneering object technology services provider in Cary, NC. While at KSC, he served as a mentor to several companies developing mission-critical products using object technology. He began his software career in 1985 at Tektronix, Inc and Mentor Graphics Corp. in Oregon.

Sridhar holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, a M.S. in computer science from Washington State University and plans to graduate this year with a masters in Liberal Studies from Duke University.
