The Max Planck Institute For Demographic Research: A Report On The First Five Years

Kenneth C. Land details the extensive report on the five years of existence of the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, located in Rostock in the former East Germany. Since October 1996, it has since become one of the largest and prominent non-governmental research bodies in demography in the world with over 50 scientific and other senior professional staff/post- and pre-doctoral fellows.

The International Wellbeing Group and The Australian Unity Wellbeing Index

Bob Cummins, Richard Eckersley, Julie Pallant, and Melanie Davern comprise a research team that will try to develop a brief, standard Index to measure population subjective wellbeing that is cross-culturally valid and reliable.
