Quality of Life Therapy For All!
Kenneth Land reviews Michael B. Frisch new book, Quality of Life Therapy: Applying a Life Satisfaction Approach to Positive Psychology and Cognitive Therapy. In the book Frisch asks, "Why do we put happiness
and satisfaction ahead of money as life goals?" He answers that feeling good, that is being happy and satisfied with
life, is its own reward. Frisch has pulled together the research tradition on subjective well-being, life satisfaction,and happiness with the recently emerged positive psychology movement in the discipline of psychology and synthesized the implications therefrom for clinical psychology efforts to increase the well-being of individuals.
