Module 1: An Overarching Theory: Decisions, Biology and Context

We will develop a model of how persons choose/enter relationships given the constraints imposed by social context and the influences of a personal developmental trajectory. Developmental trajectory are given shape and momentum by genetic factors interacting with cumulative life-cycle experience. This model provides a framework for empirical work on 21st Century American families.
